Pitter Patter Acres came to be because there are always a bunch of little feet running around, from the usual dogs and cats to Rhode Island Red chickens to little goat kids. The Boer goats that are raised here are easy to care for; shots, hoof care, and kid care are done with a gentle "hands on" approach. I work with the animals from the time they are born to insure that first time or seasoned goat owners will acquire a quality animal that is simple to care for. Working with these animals for the past ten years has been a very rewarding learning experience that is ongoing every day. The knowledge gained over the years is happily passed on to other goat enthusiasts.

Pitter Patter Acres is located in Central Virginia, about 45 minutes northeast of Richmond, in King and Queen County. The farm has easy access from Highway 360 East, between Mechanicsville and Tappahannock. Visitors are welcome by appointment. Since this is a full time working farm, a call ahead allows us to schedule time for your visit so that you can have both our and the animals' utmost attention.
